January 2009 - CDR has recently developed PalmOilTester: a fast, user-friendly and reliable testing system for crude and refined palm oil that enables the determination of acidity (FFA), DOBI & Carotene content, Peroxide Value (PV), Anisidine Value (AnV) and Iodine Value (IV) in few minutes.

The PalmOilTester is designed based on CDR technology and analytical methods. These methods are used in food industry worldwide that practise a stringent quality control on variety of foodstuffs and in particular on vegetable oils and fats. A lot of food producers, that use palm oil and edible oils in general as ingredient, use CDR analysis systems in their quality control.
