Extraction system

The system comprises a press, two containers, a series of optional accessories (pipettes, cuvettes for centrifuging, spatulas, etc.) and a centrifuge to purify the extracted product. It is possible to use both CDR's centrifuge or another one with equivalent characteristics.
The extraction system can be used with a wide variety of food matrices: fresh olives for tests on small amounts of oil and all types of dry fruit to extract oils from nuts, peanuts, almonds, Brazilian nuts. It is also possible to extract oil from sunflower seeds without removing the shell.
The system can also be used to press fruit and vegetable and obtain liquid samples for testing.
The system is designed to take small samples that are however sufficient to be tested with CDR's OxiTester instrumentation.

Temperature control system for oil mills

The temperature control system is an accessory device that can be connected to OxiTester in order to monitor the temperature during different oil crushing phases. Constituted by a converter and a maximum of 4 probes, this system is able to provide information on the temperature of oil during its extraction from the oil mill.

Main features

Temperature control in a maximum of 4 oil mill areas.
Temperature values stored at regular intervals of one minute over intervals of time ranging from 2 to 12 hours.
Printout of temperature on the slip issued by OxiTester. Printed data refer to the highest temperature measured within the selected interval of time.
It can be used with Print Manager to print the charts related to the measured temperatures.
Length of connection between OxiTester and converter: max 1,200 meters.
Length of connection between the converter and each probe: max 3 meters.
