Sensor Technology

The AquaTop sensor is designed to measure water hardness and conductivity in food-grade applications, specifically for integration into espresso coffee machines. It was developed with a focus on construction solutions capable of withstanding the harsh environmental conditions present in these systems.

Material studies were conducted in collaboration with the Department of Chemistry at the University of Florence.

Utilizing electrochemical technology, the device enables in-line measurement of hardness and conductivity parameters. Its compact design allows for seamless integration within the coffee machine and connection to its control interface.
